Sentient Cores are Sentient objects that tin be traded in for Standing with The Quills in Cetus. Intact Sentient Cores are dropped by Eidolon Vomvalysts while Exceptional Sentient Cores are dropped by Eidolon Teralysts, Eidolon Gantulysts and Eidolon Hydrolysts on the Plains of Eidolon, i for each Teralyst Synovia that is destroyed. They appear as white and blue orbs that bladder above the ground, lit upward past a blue aureola that makes them more visible, and marked with HUD icons much like Ayatan Stars. A Flawless Sentient Cadre is dropped upon successfully capturing (non defeating) a Teralyst, Gantulyst, or Hydrolyst while information technology is tethered by the required number of Eidolon Lures; both the Shards and the Flawless Core will be dropped by the Lures upon self-destruction, not past the Eidolon itself.

Battalysts and Conculysts on Lua can also drop Intact Sentient Cores. The Sentients aboard the Murex, either during Carmine Spear or during Sentient Anomalies in Veil Proxima, can too drop Intact Sentient Cores. This allows for progression with the Quills outside of the Plains of Eidolon.

The Exceptional Sentient Core Conversion, a reusable Design to upgrade Intact Sentient Cores to Exceptional ones, is bachelor as an Offering from The Quills that costs 500 Standing 500 .

Redeeming these Cores will gain Standing with The Quills. Each Intact Core grants 250 Continuing 250 , each Exceptional Cadre grants 750 Standing 750 , and each Flawless Core grants ane,500 Standing one,500 . Intact Cores are also used as sacrifices for ranking up with The Quills: ten are required to accomplish the Mote championship and 20 are required to reach the Observer championship.

Sentient Core Continuing + Blueprint Changes (NEW since the initial Dev Workshop)

In add-on to the already noted changes to Amps and Ore/Gems, we've included an increase to Sentient Core Standing return and also modified the Exceptional Sentient Core Conversion Pattern. Those starting out on their Quills journey should find this allows them to progress through the Syndicate faster to reach the higher tier Offerings.

Increased Standing return from Sentient Cores:

Intact Sentient Core Standing return from 100 to 250
Infrequent Sentient Core Standing render from 500 to 750
Flawless Sentient Core Standing return from 1200 to 1500

Update 22.thirteen (2018-02-15)

Sentient Cores now drib from Conculysts, Battalysts, and Decaying variants. They will drop either an Exceptional (25%) or Intact (75%) Sentient Core. This allows for progression with the Quills outside of the Plains of Eidolon!
